The Brief
Title: Head of Sales Development
Location: Boston or Tampa
Salary & Package: $100k-$140k + $60k OTE
Job Summary
We’re seeking a strategic and dynamic Head of Sales Development to scale our Sales Development function and accelerate pipeline growth. You’ll lead, coach, and expand a high-performing team of SDRs (Sales Development Representatives), embedding best-in-class SDR methodologies and processes that drive predictable pipeline, revenue, and long-term customer value.
In this role, you will:
Develop and execute scalable sales development strategies to support ambitious revenue goals and market expansion.
Build and lead a motivated SDR team, fostering a culture of high performance, innovation, and accountability.
Partner cross-functionally with Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success to deliver aligned messaging, campaigns, and feedback loops.
Establish metrics, KPIs, and reporting systems to evaluate team performance and optimise conversion at each stage of the sales funnel.
Implement coaching rhythms, training programmes, and career pathways for SDRs to continuously enhance skills and impact.
Bring data-driven insights to improve segmentation, targeting, outreach sequences, and qualification frameworks.
Champion adoption of sales engagement and prospecting tools while ensuring excellent SDR productivity and automation.

Experience Required
Significant experience leading Sales Development or SDR teams in a SaaS / technology environment.
Strong track record of building or scaling SDR functions with measurable impact on pipeline and revenue.
Expertise in SDR tools, sales engagement platforms, and outreach workflows.
Excellent people leadership skills with a coaching-first mindset.
Data-led approach to performance improvement and process optimisation.
Experience with cross-functional collaboration and driving alignment with Revenue teams.
A drive for results and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving business stage.
