The Brief
Title: Account Executive (SMB/Mid Market) Location: London (Victoria), 5 days in office Salary & Package: 40k-50k + OTE + equity
Job Summary
We’re looking for a commercially driven Commercial Associate/Account Executive to join a scaling fintech sales team. This is not a rebuild - it’s a high-performing, ambitious environment with strong leadership and clear product-market fit.
An amazing Commercial Associate that will accelerate a proven product into
the SMB market, starting in professional services. This is a great opportunity for a skilled sales or generalist person to get unique
experience into building a business, with exposure to the elite of global
investors.
Responsibilities:
Own the entire sales cycle, from outbound prospecting to closing deals
Sell Adfin’s invoicing platform through accountants to UK SMB/Mid Market
Build and nurture strong relationships with accountants and their clients
Conduct demos, clearly presenting product benefits in a consultative manner
Pass clients to Customer Success for ongoing account management
Contribute to shaping a high-performance sales culture
Experience Required
1–2 years' experience in SDR, BDR, consulting, or a client-facing commercial role
Proven track record of exceeding quota or commercial targets in a mid-market environment
Bachelor's or Master's degree from a Top 200 global university preferred
Strong discovery, objection handling, and negotiation skills
Excellent communication skills and confidence engaging senior stakeholders
Fintech, payments, or financial SaaS experience is advantageous but not essential
Autonomous, self-motivated, and able to self-motivate
Quick thinker, adaptable, and thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth startup
